myGcardThere are discussions about Gcard is no longer working in Talk Gold forums. To test it out, I just funded $100 Egold (instantaneous funding) to withdraw from my ATM machine.

Gcard is still working fine, and the loading is still instantaneous

Calling out to people who has funded your Uniclear card for weeks and has yet to get any response from them. I have a few comments from my debit card review that they’re facing this situation, exactly how many people who are in the same boat?

Could people hollaback by responding to the Comments?

Well, I forgot to mention you can only withdraw with a BlueBanking Debit Card with UdachuInvest.

Usually, I hate the hassle and mucking about with Debit Cards but BlueBanking has drawn my interest, plus I trust the Udachu company’s judgment in such matters.

So I checked out the BlueBanking site and the card is FREE besides shipping and handling, with barely any mucking about to get the card.

I received this email today from the former Australian StudioPay Manager, Kim Pukallus.

He has resigned with others and the Australian, Spanish, US and Canadian StudioPay offices have closed. Kim’s reasons for leaving are upstairs management and no money.

John Horan has posted his comments on the ST forum, a copy is pasted below also.

    NSFG (North Sea Forex Group)

Hopped onto this gem after two months of consideration. They are very transparent on what they do and Paul was extremely receptive when I added him to Yahoo IM. The cut-off date for the following month’s trading is 25th, so if you have already decided to join them, do not miss the date. Yes, vibe might not be useful in such situation but they are so transparent that they do allow you to look at their trading records. Interested people should join Tulasu’s forums to view them. Send a blank email to info@ns-fg.com should you be interested to know more as well.

This review will cease to be valid since TGS has suspended their debitcard. You can find more information from the following link: http://news.thegoldshop.biz/debit-card-sales-and-funding-suspended/

cost of card: US$130 (including Fedex shipping) - would say it’s awfully expensive

This is my first debit card and I was not aware that there are others around since TGS provided me with superb excellent funding services that I’ve decide to stick with them even with debit function.

Only decided to change my mind since there are some hitches on the way which we will take a look later.

    TheGoldShop Debit Card outlook

Card arrived speedily through Fedex prority within 5 working days. You notice the card is issued by an Israeli bank (I don’t know how that exactly works). No anonymity since you are required to send a photo ID to them.

    Uniclear

Since 2 days back I’ve been trying to login to Uniclear, to no avail. Found this on GoldenTalk,

    Jan 5th 2006

Just tried funding $100.00 worth of E-gold into Uniclear, it’s in (thanks to jetskibum, no not for the money, the headsup). Well I’m not exactly sure what is going on but they might have made a rash decision yesterday and decided it’s actually ok to accept E-gold again. We’ll monitor the situation. Debit card - Uniclear Review has been re-rated again.

    E-gold

Was rushing to work and grabbed a coffee & a pastry from Delifrance before actually reading the article closely on E-gold’s raid. Oh, I had it printed and used the Print The Article function, it works perfectly. Nifty plug-in I should say. Kudos to peter for suggesting a print function on the blog entries that we write.

cost of debit card: $10 (Cheap)
    url: http://www.uniclear.com

Uniclear is the last card to reach me. (I still have a TGS debit card unreviewed yet, maybe throwing in EMO/ StormPay card if time allows). After ordering, the card arrives in my mail within 1 week.

Comes with it is a piece of paper, with the card sticked onto it, some instructions and another piece of paper with the 4 digit pin.

Uniclear card? Yes, digital SLR is a boon.

When you order their card, they would have sent you an email (asking you not to click the activation email until you received the card) first. So I trackbacked and activated the card. The instructions are not so clear on the funding part, so I tried to email the Support, which never really replied my mail at all. Bad or slow customer service I would say. Benefit of doubt given as it’s edging to Christmas/ New Year period at the time of test.

Tried seeking help and guess what? Wonkas! You’d find Jambutty’s Uniclear - How I got mine thread guiding you step by step on how to get your card activated and funded. It helped me a great deal, I funded my account with the thread and still no reply from Uniclear. Anyone new to them should refer to Jim’s guide.

My funding timing were unknown as I seemed to have keyed in the wrong debit card number whilst activation, their customer service got back to me on this and told me to reactivate it again. After funding, it took about 72 hours for the funds to hit the card. I would say it might be due to the festive season again as I hear the norm is usually 24 hours. I will test spend again when I need funds. in the meantime, i’ll take it that they need at least 3 days.

The best part about Uniclear I guess, is their rates. They’re currently the cheapest around (tie with TGS debit card) as I notice. Rates are as below for the debit card. It’s 2% to exchange E-gold to your main Uniclear account to get funded.

Cost of the debit card: $20.00
Time it takes to reach your home: 7 days
    url: www.cash-evolution.com
    canadian based company

I'll need a digital SLR, cash evolution card

Surprisingly, gCard and cashEvolution’s package are almost the same. With the difference that they packed it all in an envelope, the pin & all. No instructions on activating the card as well. Emailed their support, responded slightly more than a day, relatively responsive customer service. Note they’ll just email you the activation url which you’ll need to key in a userid, password and card number. Then it will lead you to enter your personal information.

    my gcard

The mail arrived few days ago, with two envelopes inside, one containing the card (the above photo) and the other, the pin (with a sticker covering).
