ePanama is our newest blogger! Mark’s first article, about WebMoney, is below. However, there is a second article at his blog, Digital Money World, today that you should read, also. There are new rules for any site accepting credit card payments. It doesn’t matter if the site owner is huge, like Amazon, or a mom-and-pop operation. The rules are good news for those of us that make purchases online and are concerned about identity theft.

I’ve got a reply back from straight from E-gold on the current changes.

    Hi Jude,

Yes, if you visit what’s new off the e-gold site you will see that recently we implemented an option for Online Gambling sites to refuse payments from person’s located in the USA in accordance with the Safe Ports Act and the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

If you notice a little downtime earlier on E-gold, its probably this new change that they’re doing earlier.

You’re now required most probably to update your point of contact by selecting the Country you are in.

The reason for this additional change is not known yet; I’ll email them to see if we could get an answer to that.

CEPTrust is unlicensed, like TriStar Money Changers (TSMC), but what a world of difference in how they are handling the issue! While Bob Krim, TSMC, is clamping down on anyone even asking about it (or any other issue), Trevor, CEPTrust, is pursuing the issue. Not only is he pursing it, he’s allowing an open discussion about it on his forum. You can read the legality thread here. (I’ve been following the discussion for the past few days.) So, kudos goes to Trevor for professionalism and raspberries go to Bob for being a tyrant.

I was evaluating a site, when I came across their news bulletin today about TriStar Money Changers (TSMC). The site’s name and information are excluded, because I didn’t obtain permission from them.

Hello Members! Just wanted to let everyone know that we longer will be able to accept “Tri-Star Money Changers” on our web site. We apologize for the short notice, however we got an email a few hours ago from TSMC saying the following:

All auto surfs and HYIP programs must remove Tri-Star Money Changers from their websites as a payment option.

Any TSMC Ad Pack Purchase previous to the 13th will be honored. We apologize for any inconvenience, however the issue is out of our hands. We encourage people to use AlertPay! Its a VERY secure processor, that excels in member support! http://www.alertpay.com. They have many great features to come in the future so they are our recommendation. Just wanted to say again, THANK YOU to all of the members who have been supporting us! We would not be here if it wasn’t for you.

Add that to withdrawal delays and it looks like the beginning of the end for Bob Krimm. He doesn’t care, though. He’s got his new $349K house in Naples, FL (check out SuccessTalkOnline.com’s whois plus the listing for the house) and yacht!

    JMO,
    Sharon

It’s been a long time since I’ve written an article. The reason is that I’m pretty much out of the HYIP game. However, I’m still watching things from the sidelines. One of the things I’m watching is EMO. It’s moving slower than molasses, so I only check on it now and then.

Recently I received an email from a former EMO employee, who wishes to remain anonymous. They gave me permission to broadcast the content. I thought about paraphrasing what they said, but the best way to convey the information is in the original content:

Andy, The Finer Things update that E-gold is having problems and they’ll process payments once after its up.

Yep, E-gold is pretty much inaccessible to me as well.

Right now we cannot process anything through e-gold. This probably means you cannot either. We expect normal service to be resumed shortly - and will resume processing at that time.

    Sep 16th 2006

Source is coming from 15DailyPro that Alertpay has not enough E-gold to outexchange for them.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to fulfill your E-Gold withdrawal request at this time as our E-Gold reserves have become depleted. Wewill be able to fulfill your request mid next week approximately on Wednesday.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Regards,
    Customer Support

    E-gold

E-gold is loading pretty much very slow at this point and I really think there’s nothing to worry about. Most probably due to DDOS attacks or something since the last annoucement for maintenance was 31st July.

There was a public statement somewhere long ago stating that even if the site gets attack, the bullion and records are safe.
