I spent 5 hours on the phone and in conference with Craig, Kerry and Troy discussing the concerns brought up in the comments on the review and interview articles. I hope that this article will alleviate some of the concerns about EarnByLoaning. I understand that there will always be people who will be positive, negative or neutral. This article is intended to clarify some issues, not to persuade anyone that has already made up their mind. As with any program, please seek multiple sources of information and do your own verification to determine if a program is for you or not. (ADD Warning: This is another one of my long articles!)

    General

I asked Craig why he is borrowing from people, rather than a bank. He replied that in order to get a bank loan, he would have to secure it with assets. In addition, there are FDIC (US alphabet commission that regulates banking) guidelines that prohibits a bank from loaning for investments of this nature.

Earn By Loaning (EBL) is an opportunity that everyone should have in their portfolio. Real programs, like EBL, are hard to find and rarely talked about. It’s about time that it gets good press and good buzz! EBL is the first program that I’ve seen that actually GUARANTEES the returns! Everyone else has a disclaimer in their terms of service (TOS) that states that returns aren’t guaranteed. How cool is that? Guaranteed returns!

Read the interview with NoBS HYIP Blog here and listen to the interview at EBL here. Read what others are saying at their forum and at NoBS Network EBL thread.

Profit sharing has been around for a couple of months now. What’s being termed as the “old school” model, which is a static percentage earned every day for a static number of days, has been losing ground for a while. Fewer and fewer HYIPs/Autosurfs using the old school model are opening sucessfully and even fewer are surviving. In the wake of old school failures came the profit sharing model. The PS model consists of earning a percentage of your deposit based on a percentage of the previous day’s revenue. The percentage is usually capped at 10-15%. You continue earning until you’ve reached XXX% or the program folds, whichever occurs first.

What’s good about the PS model is that you can easily see when withdraws begin to exceed deposits. This is a double-edged sword because a slight downward trend can cause a panic run on withdraws, closing the program prematurely. What’s wrong with the PS model is that it is still a ponzi. As I’ve stated in previous articles and comments, being a ponzi is not necessarily a bad thing, even though it is illegal. You can get in and get out with a profit, although the majority will lose. Some of the PS programs include other things like advertising sales, lottery tickets, investments in other PS models, etc. with the daily deposit profits. The external things lengthen a PS program’s life, but the majority of income is still the deposits.

    Findings of Infinity Shares

We’ve really came to a point where we make fun of each other from time to time in Infinity Shares yes? I’ll be impartial and straight to the point for this program.

    Infinity Shares returns come from..

Forex. You might be thinking, *UH NO, NOT ANOTHER RUN IN THE MILL HYIP THAT CLAIMS TO DO FOREX FOR RETURNS AGAIN?!* I’d stop you for a moment.

I haven’t plugged my blog for a while, so here it is - please go to Northern Calm and check out a quite long update on a new opportunity that I was asked to have a look at. It appears to be the real deal, and is great for the little guy, and for those looking for some easy diversification.

    KA Online

Crossed out the due diligence words as usual, not sure whether its good enough for our readers, so here goes:

A little description of KA Online from Benjamin Navarro, Director, KA Online

I looked into Ad Titans about a week ago, despite the fact that PhoenixSurf/NME was the first to announce them and then made them “site of the week.” There was quite a bit of speculation about Ad Titans being part of then NME family, even though NME denied it. Following the speculation, Edward Adams, At Titans administrator, wrote a long introduction about himself and Ad Titans in their forum. It was a really good introduction and you can read it here.

    No.

I think they’re a scam, or at least dodgy.

    Reasons why?

Check out my blog - Northern Calm - for the full story.

(Hey, I can’t just copy and paste ALL my posts here, once in a while I’m just going to summarize! :) )

Well, maybe not the greatest thing ever but it only costs nine bucks. I suppose this is another of my ‘fun things that won’t cost you your mortgage.’

    It’s EGoldRevolution.

This has been around for nearly TWO AND A HALF YEARS. And that’s not a fake (not so) Solid Investment style claim either.

It’s fairly unique, and apparently you can only withdraw a maximum of $20 a day, and it only costs a minimum of $9 to get in. I think of it more as a bit of a fun, a $9 gamble than anything else.

It’s a HYIP and a MLM combined, and you have to pay a little monthly subscription payment. The program automatically assigns you referrals however and everyone I’ve spoken to has found that, without any promotion, the program has provided (unlike pretty much every other MLM out there.)

Anyway, it’s been around for two and a half years and it cost me nine bucks. It’s a HYIP and it’s a bit of fun so I thought “why the hell didn’t I jump in this earlier?”

Here’s a copy and paste from their site to explain the rules in more detail as I don’t have much more to say (unique HYIP, costs nine bucks, been around for a long time, never draws much attention to itself… uh, it’s cool? It’s a bit of fun, a bit of a laugh? You won’t get rich off it but it might make you a nice tidy little side return? That’s about it really.) (more…)

Yes, well, it’s not that useless. See, having not posted for a little while and seeing the write up on the TG crap about SensaTrust (oh, how the lovely little trolls love to make a fuss) I thought I’d repost a little write up I did at my blog (Northern Calm) a few days ago about Private Investors Union.

Star7Group is among the many sites that are suffering from DDoS attacks. However, there has never been a problem accessing their site if you use their SSL URL (https, instead of http).

Payments for positions purchased and auto-reinvest positions created on 14th April have just gone out. Referral commissions upto this minute have been paid out as well.

    Apr 17th 2006

Star7Group is fairly new to the HYI scene, but they have a fresh idea for HYIPs. They launched on April 3rd and made their first payments on April 10th. When you purchase, they return 200% after 7 days. Then they take 50% of that and reinvest it automatically for an additional 150% in another 7 days. You receive a total of 225% profit, split into 2 payments, in 16 days. The minimum investment is $20 and the maximum is $1,000 per day.

    Feb 23rd 2006

    Well, I was bored.

Whilst bored, I came across this - Autumn Fund.

Autumn Fund works kind of like a doubler-list thing where you put in 50 cents and move everyone up a slot.

It also has a MLM component where you refer people to help them move you up the list and get paid more…

    Feb 19th 2006

Well, it’s been a while, and I’ve been watching the whole Scampay saga with interest…

In the meantime I thought - hey, I’ll risk a little cash on something riskier.

Goldenrocks of course was kicking along fine for me - however there’s been developments on that today… What is to come? Who knows.
