Just how low will a scammer go? We’ve all talked about what scum Richard, the HYIP ring, Andy, etc. are, but I’m not sure they would sink as low as the admin of the former Please-Invest scam. He claimed his name was “William” when he stole over $200K running PI, but then again he has claimed a lot of things that have proven to be lies.

In 2005 there was a famous letter from a HYIP ring that explained how they opened up HYIPs for the sole purpose of stealing the member’s funds. Yesterday a new letter was posted at MMG in the ITrade4U thread. Could it be the same ring? The letters are similar. If it is, then they are still fooling most of the people and stealing huge amounts of our money!

First, the ITrade4U.biz website is for sale. They boast running FAPIC, INVEX, E-BASTION, TROYBANK, ITRADE4U, and OPENTRADE. You can see the advertisement here.

Next the letter to Invex Group members that outlines how they run their scams…

    Dear Invex Ltd. Players,

This is a long message and will be the last news you will hear from us… until we open our next HYIP. We want, kindly, recommend you stop losing your time by looking after us. Anyway, for the cyber detectives, here is how we worked.

Its very obvious that when JF was not released for the public yet, Arnaud(the owner) generated some very nice returns with a +71% profit peek in february 2006. Then he decided to open his program to the public around april of that same year.

Blaming E-gold on their indictment to their program failure is lame, as Jose from Noponzi brings the news up on NN’s RSS partner feeds on the closure of LightHalzen.

If you’re a ponzi, you’re ponzi. No excuses.

Do not invest in Sapientinvest any longer! They ran away but they decided to keep the website up to lure more victims in it before disappearing!

Spread the word! DO NOT SPEND THERE, you have been warned! Lets put these scammers out of business.

It comes as no surprise to me that Please-Invest is down. Quirky explanation from the admin himself.

    Dear Please Invest users,

Anyone who has been paying close attention to Please Invest for the past two weeks will be well aware that as of the end of April we have been demonstrating difficulty is completing pending withdrawals. This was caused by many events ranging from the indictment of e-gold to a mass withdrawal by members.

It’s a little late but Curt has good updates on investors recovery on these two huge scams with articles titled ‘Solidinvestment Progress’ and ‘Troybank Lawsuit Info’.

Troybank had 3116 Victims. Victims are ones not in profit or break even. Their distribution will be about 20 cents on the Dollar recovered, that is even after lawyers fees and all expenses. This is a Great recovery!

Got an email from one of our reader asking me to review the above programs after receiving our monthly e-zine.

I wouldn’t know how to explain but it just comes to me pretty quickly that both Dividendltd and Forexsystem.biz are nothing but pure ponzi scam sites. It will come to you straight without fail when you’ve been in the arena long enough.

After posting a comment to Jude’s late January post about A3Union, I was again struck by the ongoing and unanimous success it and the more sophisticated HYIP scams like it experience. Once a novelty, such programs have become much more commonplace over the past year or two as scammers adapt the working of their craft to a (only slightly) more discriminating and educated potential member pool. The outspoken advocate of investor - or gambler, if you prefer - education that I am, I think recognizing what it is that certain programs have in common, loosely categorizing them and analyzing them on that basis is of paramount importance for understanding the world of HYI (a generic label that encompasses HYIPs, surfs, and so on). Profit - and survival, for that matter - do not come without understanding, so anyone looking to make money online by unconventional means will have to do some considerable thinking. So, put your thinking cap on for a moment and follow me into the slick and sordid muck of what I call legitimation scams.

I was away from the computer for close to 48 hours and apparently I picked the wrong time to take a break! The TriStar and CEP news broke all over the place. I had planned to write one article for both giants, but now feel that it would be an injustice to CEP. So, here’s the TriStar crap of the day…

First, I’d like to point out that some of the places with TriStar news and viewpoints are Dolphin’s Wink (multiple), PonziScams (multiple), DrunksWorld, the Safelist and iBiOBiz. All are worth reading, but the most notable are Dolphin’s articles “Good Friday” and “Ads On Command.” Dolphin expressed her views, which mirror my own, very eloquently. Chris coined the term “TriStar Money Holders” and I think it’s appropriate.

I am so fed up with Bobby’s bullcrap! Have we learned nothing from history? Let’s review what he’s up to now, which are ALL things that happened right before the closing of several huge HYIPs, Autosurfs and Payment Processors in the past:

    The saga continues…

In my last article Ad Daily Network pleaded to get their funds in TriStar Money Changers (TSMC) unblocked. When their account was unblocked, they wrote a thank-you letter, praising Bs King, which sounded coerced.

If you were a member of 9PlanetNoSurf, then you probably watch(ed) 9PlanetReviews for any refund news. Normally I read 9PlanetReviews as part of my daily reading, but not for much longer. Here’s a run down of this week’s updates:

Tuesday, 03/20/07 – John posts an email from one of his disgruntled former customers. First, John’s response to the emailer sickened me by how degrading it was. To add insult to injury, John has the audacity to post the emailer’s name and email address!! Shame on you, John!

If you do receive anything from Micheal Bruzesse and/or Scott Hare with legal proceeding against Solid Investment, please provide as much information as you can. Check out Ponziscam’s entry on this one.

So it’s not really end of the world after all ;)

Curt, PonziScams, has two new interesting articles plus another from a couple of days ago. Curt is very good at sniffing out scams. It’s well worth visiting PonziScams.com regularly!

    Mar 14th 2007

Curt, Ponziscams would like any Troybank investors to leave a note on how much have you invested and lost here. To only US investors of Troybank, there might be something that could be done. I’ve listened to his proposed solution and it sounds really promising.

If you are a victim residing in the states, plug it in here.
