I hope this gets indexed by search engine pretty quickly so the innocent could avoid spending on Minvestment, a scam.

As legislations gets tighter and with most countries declaring HYIPs as scams, I really wonder why are people still gambling with e-Gold, Pecunix, Liberty Reserve money on scams that are plain obvious based on nothing but thin air.

I see new scams springing up almost daily, accepting Pecunix and LR lately. (Of course with the problems coming from e-Gold, even scammers would want to avoid the money they scam being caught)

Check out this article on Singapore treating HYIPs as scams, another on Jamaican legislations on people that might involve with HYIPs may be charged.

It’s time to move on. I have, have you?

I will be sending an email shortly within the next 3 days as I was busy, but the mailing list is ready.

Discussions should start taking place in Nobs Network’s Club-FX Recovery thread. PeterB has been removed and deleted from the forum with his ident blocked. I request my regulars in the network forum and people who feels like taking action against him to participate in the discussion of what should we be doing.

Take real note, you need a minimum of 10 posts to allow you to see and discuss on this thread. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. This will be in turn be a voting option to everyone in the list of what to do next.

Infinity Shares closes with immediate effect,

    Dear members,

The last couple of months, the activity of trading from ISFIC was rather low and now it is time to come to the conclusion that we must close the program. First of all, I want to state no money has been lost and that certainly is not the reason for closing, everyone will receive the amount of cash in their account balance or as shares back.

The low amount of activity and the resulting closure of ISFIC has much to do with the decreased interest and time for trading. Both Christian’s and my schedule in real life has been so packed that there was barely time leftover to trade. The fact that my interests have moved over the last months from trading to other area’s, certainly did not help. There was only one conclusion left that could be made and that is closure.

I personally see ISFIC as a successful program, that ran good for 20 months with about 80% profit since the beginning, something not many online and offline ventures will repeat. More than 95% of our members are in good profits and that is what they will be paid out.

Now to arrange the practical side of this closure, I would like to ask everyone to sell their shares and withdraw their amount in the Cash Balance as soon as possible. I will process them all one by one, a timeframe will be given once I have an overview of the amount of cash needed. Special withdrawals can be asked by contacting me on Yahoo IM (leave a message) or by a support ticket. In case you won a contest prize, do send a support ticket including your name and the amount you want to withdraw, we will add the winnings to it.

The site of ISFIC will stay online till the end of January, then I will mail you all the address of a free hosted forum for those who still haven’t made their withdrawals, their you will still have to opportunity to withdraw your cash.

I want to thank you all for being a part of this project and giving us the opportunity to make it work, we had a good run and I hope we proved that honest programs do exist, and you do can make profits online!

Our best wishes for 2008 and may your dreams come true!!

    The ISFIC Team
    Stijn, Christian and Steven

PS: Those of you that are interested in other future ventures of this team, can leave a support ticket or contact me on Yahoo IM

ps, they did what they say, and they are in my opinion, successful.

A question that crosses everyonce mind once in a while is :
“Why does an admin run away from his own scam while it still has a lot of potential?”

Admin’s can earn a little more on a program if they work had on advertising, faith, cheerleaders and other resources and let sites run a little longer than average. But they simply launch a new site instead that will skyrock once again.

Lemme show you why admins prefer to kill a hyip very quickly, instead of letting it run until it *truly* dies.

    Scenario 1
    ———-
    Site A :
after 5 days, capital is 5 million
after 10 days, capital is 9 million
after 15 days, capital is 11 million
after 20 days, capital is 11.5 million. So admin decides to pull the plug because the capital doesnt increase anymore and will drop soon.

Total days : 20, capital he stole : 11.5 million

    Scenario 2
    ———-
    Site A :
after 5 days, capital is 5 million
after 10 days, capital is 9 million
Admin pre-runs and pulls the plug! Now he creates site B

    Site B :
after 5 days, capital is 4 million
after 10 days, capital is 7 million
Admin pre-runs and pulls the plug!

    Total days : 20, capital he stole : 9 + 7 = 16 million

As you can notice in scenario 1, site A could have been run longer but usually an admin just pre-runs, because whenever he launched a new site, it will quickly raise more money, much quicker.

In the long run this hurts the hyip world. If an admin runs a site using scenario 1, 30% of the investors make a profit, 70% looses, but at least there will be a chance to win something. Most hyip investors dont mind scenario 1. Its a game after all right?

In scenario 2 however, 99% will loose their money. So in the investors point of view, scenario 2 is a disappointment and thats why hyips slowly die.

However the scam artists abusing it and using scenario 2 dont care.
They do not care that another admin in the future suffers from their strategy. Because by the time they suffer from their own strategy theirself, they already collected so much money, they can retire for the rest of their life.

You have to keep in mind, we see playing hyips as a game. Admins however dont see it as a game, and wont care that they spoiled your game, by running away extremely fast. All they care about is filling their own pockets.

I won’t pull down the article and I’m sharing this with everyone.

You haven’t been responding to my email at all about refunds, and you’re only responding to those who’re more noisy and threaten to tear you down. Well, this is it.

    Peter wrote:
Jude I have been responding to your e-mails but they have been comming back…

Let ma ask you something, ARE YOU ALL STUPID OR SOMETHING. Do you honestly think that I am the scammer? do you think I will steal peoples money then just sit here and wait for the authorities to come pick me up…. I am not afraid of your threats, I have been making refunds even up to a few weeks ago. In spit of the fact that I never took anyones money I am still paying people back.

My word is still good on what I said that anyone not prepared to wait will get nothing, I will remove them completely from the list. I don’t have to pay for something I never stole, even tho I am trying to do just that. You and some of the others have shown me nothing but contempt and don’t deserve my efforts to try and restore what we all lost.

You are hereby warned that if my name is not removed from your public sites I will be giving instructions to my atorney to take legal action against you and I will remove youn from the refund list. you have 24 hours.

Jude, don’t threaten me when I’m trying to help everyone here, even tho they have treated me like a criminal. why don’t you ask if anyone has had any refunds lately…

Ask you friend concilliator, and be very carefull now, you are on very thin ice and I’m in a mood to remove people from the list.

Just read from Benson at DigitalMoneyWorld that LondonGoldExchange is temporary suspending its international service due to bank account closure. I guess authorities are now working very prudently especially on Money Laundering policies. The September 11 attacks effect is still felt today.

Also something to note, (and its coming late from here) that IceGold will no longer be selling e-Gold due to its country’s Money Laundering Law

    IceGold

Starting from December 14th 2007, no new orders for buying e-gold can be placed at the IceGold website.

Due to the pending adoption of the new version of Estonia’s Anti Money-laundering Law IceGold can no longer complete exchanges once the law will take effect in the first half of January 2008. The new law requires exchangers of alternative payment systems such as IceGold to identify all customers face to face.

To make sure we can complete all pending orders before the law takes effect we can no longer allow new transactions to be registered from now on as the wires might arrive too late for us to complete the exchanges.

Already registered exchanges will be completed if the payment arrives before the law takes effect.

We hope that this is only a temporary interruption of service and we are actively looking for solutions to continue offering our customers the best service they have becomed accustomed to over the last 7 years. Please check back here for news.

WordPress 2.3.2 has just been released.

WordPress 2.3.2 is an urgent security release that fixes a bug that can be used to expose your draft posts. 2.3.2 also suppresses some error messages that can give away information about your database table structure and limits and stops some information leaks in the XML-RPC and APP implementations. Get 2.3.2 now to protect your blog from these disclosures.

As a little bonus, 2.3.2 allows you to define a custom DB error page. Place your custom template at wp-content/db-error.php. If WP has a problem connecting to your database, this page will displayed rather than the default error message.

Dan actually gave me a call on my phone asking for help to spread the message on this update, source: Life Holdings Forum

    Hello everybody.

I had to leave last week not only to celebrate Christmas with my family but also to see some things get done at the bank in person.

The DNS settings were screwed up these days, I couldn’t access LH website nor Nobsnetwork forum. Today I see I can access the forum, LH webmail and NN are still out of my reach.

Use the Yahoo e-mail address until further notice:

So…right now I am back to digging through 6000 e-mails of SPAM and LH support all mixed up, catching up with answering your questions.

I am really sorry that out of probably 50 – 70 cash-out requests only 5-7 wires in total will go out this month. I know many of you need this money, some more urgently then others. It would have been a great Christmas present but it just wasn’t possible. More updates on payments as more money reaches me and I can send it out.

    Happy Holidays, be well!
